THE OCEAN IN A FRAMEWORK FOR “SKY IS DIFFERENT BY THE SEA”, STAGED AT ALMADA’S CASA DELLA DANçA.

The latest R-Ev residency involved Yara Asmar, Miryam Chilà, Emiliano Dionisi, Carlo Galiero and Carlo Geltrude who presented their project Sky is different by the sea.

With the support of Artemrede, the project was staged in the evocative location of the Casa da Dança in Almada, where a large window overlooks the ocean, offering the Los Canarios group a perfect setting for the story of the goldfish Spartacus.

The meeting with the local artists and theatre directors Рincluding Sara Aires (producer of Rua das Gaivotas 6), David Cabecinha (artistic director of Alkantara festival), Rodrigo Francisco (artistic director of Festival de Teatro de Almada and Teatro Municipal Joaquim Benite) and Francisco Fraẓo (artistic director of TBA РTeatro do Bairro Alto) Рgave them the opportunity to learn more about the Portuguese history and cultural system and to get in touch with the audience.
