Nuovo Teatro Sanità

Nuovo Teatro Sanità (NtS’) originated in 2013 in Naples in the Rione Sanità, by the will of a group of theater professionals, led by artistic director Mario Gelardi, who met the young people of Sanità and built with them a theater, in a church of the ‘700, gathering around him a real community.

Sardegna Teatro – Theater of Cultural Interest

Founded in 1973, Teatro di Sardegna (TdS) was recognized in 2015 by MiBACT as the only Sardinian TRIC, thanks to the project Sardegna Teatro directed by Massimo Mancini, receiving also the MiBACT contribution for the Dance Review.
In addition to the production of multidisciplinary performances, TdS expresses its longing for a cooperative society proposing itself as a place of collective experience, training of emerging artists and active involvement of communities.

Primavera dei Teatri

A festival focused on the new languages of the contemporary scene, Primavera dei Teatri is held in Castrovillari, a small town on the outskirts of Calabria, one of the most disadvantaged regions of Italy, which has always been cut off from the most significant cultural currents crossing Europe. Today, after twenty editions, the festival is considered one of the leading events of the Italian artistic scene, an essential reference point for operators, critics, artists and audiences from all over Italy and abroad.

Scena Nuda – Theatre company

Scena Nuda theater company was founded in Reggio Calabria in 2006 by Teresa Timpano and Filippo Gessi, both graduates of the Civic Academy of Dramatic Art Nico Pepe of Udine. In 2010 Roberta Smeriglio joined in the role of organizer and designer. The Association stands out for its widespread work on the territory and with schools, managing to create, in 2010 at the Odeon Theatre in Reggio Calabria, the season of theater for children Theater for you, involving 17,000 spectators.

Teatro della Città – Centro di Produzione Teatrale (TdC), founded in 1989, is recognized as a Center of Theatrical Production by MiBACT and the Sicilian Region – Tourism, Sport and Entertainment Department. Its main activities focus on the production, programming and touring in the field of live performance, in particular of both classical and contemporary prose. Among these, it is worth mentioning the coordination of a regional theater network for the circulation of plays in places and cultural heritage of high value.

Between the Seas Mediterranean Performance Lab

Between the Seas was founded in 2010 in New York by Aktina Stathaki with the mission of cultivating contemporary Mediterranean performing arts and promoting cultural dialogue between the Mediterranean and the rest of the world. Between the Seas Festival of Mediterranean Performing Arts, the first and only international festival in North America dedicated to contemporary Mediterranean culture, was organized in this vein from 2011 to 2015.

Polyeco Contemporary Art Initiative (PCAI) was founded in 2014 by Athanasios Polychronopoulos, executive chairman of Polyeco Group, as a means to increase environmental awareness through contemporary art and video. The organization is a member of the International Association of Corporate Collections of Contemporary Art (IACCCA) and the Green Art Lab Alliance (GALA) and implements its goals through three areas of activity and its primarily commission-based art collection, projects, and support. The PCAI artist residency program focuses on the interplay between contemporary art, science, and environmental consciousness.

Hammana Artist House

The will to make slight social transformations, mission of Hammana Artist House (HAH), is translated into a diversity of disciplines, level of professionalism, ideological background of the groups, artists and partners involved in its programs. Through the provision of socially useful workshops, residencies, professional network meetings, or through the programming of performances, HAH is a residency space and a cultural center, implementing a whole chain of activities aimed at fighting against the mental limits of a fragmented society, divided by communitarianism and politically motivated initiatives.

Teatro General San Martin – Complejo Teatral de Beunos Aires

In September 2000, the city government created the Buenos Aires Theater Complex, an organization that unites, artistically and administratively, five theaters: the San Martín, Presidente Alvear, Regio, De la Ribera and Sarmiento theaters.
Teatro San Martín is one of the most prestigious and avant-garde theaters in Latin America. The theater has two permanent theatrical companies, the Contemporary Ballet and the Puppeteers Group, both forerunners in the sector at the national level, and has three halls for artistic performances and a cinema.

IESAV Institut d’Études Scéniques Audiovisuelles et Cinematographiques – Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth

The Institute of Scenic, Audiovisual and Film Studies (IESAV) is attached to the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Saint Joseph in Beirut. Since its creation in 1988, it has been a pioneer in audiovisual and film studies in the Middle East and provides a highly qualified theatrical education. IESAV has classrooms, bodywork rooms, editing and post-production studios, sound studios, computer graphics studios, a set design workshop, as well as a rich video library. Two large film sets (each with a studio and a control room) and a professional theatre (the Béryte theatre) are at the service of the students, allowing them to learn both didactically and practically.
