“THE TREE AND THE POETS” TAKES SHAPE IN SESIMBRA, A PLAY OF STORIES, METAPHORS AND MASKS THAT NARRATES THE COMPLEXITY OF HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS.

Thanks to the Iberescena Fund and with the support of the cultural association Sui Generis, the group of Bruna Bonanno, Tiago Filipe, Felipe Ipar and Matthieu Pastore had the opportunity to add a new Portuguese stage to their journey, already marked by the two residencies in Naples and Reggio Calabria.

The city of Sesimbra, which hosted the artists from May 13th to 22nd, thus marked a new evolution of the Tree Lines project, now entitled The Tree and the Poets: the story of a tree, of its roots, but also of men and women who often find themselves unable to renew that sweet feeling that the heart knows how to warm a little. A fairy tale, told through ten fantastic stories by two masters of ceremony who meet and celebrate the birth of the tree and its carnival.
